Mogens Kold

The story about Mogens Kold's Møbelfabrik in Vestergade, Copehnhagen, can be traced back to the Kold Savværk in 1914. After a fire in 1925 the company moved to the port area and developed into the one of the largest hardwood factories in Denmark. Mogens Kold established a furniture factory in Langegade, Vestergade in 1950. The production was stopped in 1990. In the 1970s Mogens Kold created Denmark's first design center.
